We\'ve had pigeons landing in the eaves outside our shop. I installed bird spikes but that only worked for a few days. Now they are entering through the shop doors and hanging out inside the shop.  They’ve been leaving their mark on shop desks and work areas.  I’m concerned about disease and would like them removed ASAP.            -Roland R

I have smelled a skunk in the neighborhood since the spring. My cousin who lives down the street has said there is a skunk with babies living under their sunroom. Recently, a skunk has been in my fenced in backyard during the night when I let my dog out. I’ve found a hole under a brick that has appeared recently. I believe the skunk is taking up residence in my yard. I would like the skunk trapped and removed so I can let my dog out in the yard again.      -Kathy F

I moved into a rental house in Feb. and was told the property had sat empty for some time. Shortly after we moved in, we heard rats in the walls. I sealed up the interior holes that I could find and we put traps (caught 2) then rat poison (Decon) in the attic. The noises stopped after a period of death stench. I have not had problems since maybe May. I have been hearing noises again, between 3-6am most nights. I don’t hear squeaking this time and this sounds bigger. When I first heard it, it was a repetitive thumping, like when a dog scratches itself and thumps its leg.      -Gary B

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Walled Lake and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Animal Problems in Walled Lake, Michigan

The residents of Walled Lake, Michigan have been noticing quite a rise in animal problems lately.

We are having problems at two locations, both with mole problems. First, my husband’s business location is a house. Last year, we started having moles making runs in the flower beds, but very few in the yard. I let them go, because I thought they would eat the grubs I had seen there and then move on. Well, they are still there this year and I have noticed runs in the yard now. Time for them to go! The other property is our home, which is about 2 miles from the office. Our house does have a strip of woods behind us and we get voles, mice and chipmunks. A week or two ago, I noticed a few runs in the yard and up next to the house foundation. I am assuming it’s a mole. I want the mole gone and if there is anything to do about the voles and mice that would be great too.         -Teresa F

I have a mouse problem in my house. I had a messy roommate and when he moved out I found multiple mouse holes in that room. I have also seen a mouse in the kitchen and have trapped a few mice myself, but I know there are more. I was just curious about what else I should be doing. Any information would be helpful.     -DJ G

I believe we have a skunk that may have died in or around our house. The last two or three days we have had what started out as a sewer smell but has since changed into what people are telling us is definitely a skunk. We are getting ready to list our house for sale and do not want any skunk smell. -Alyn T
